Shawn Kouris

Shawn Kouris joined Mills, Mills, Fiely & Lucas as a litigation paralegal bringing with her 24 years of legal experience. Shawn assists the attorneys in various areas of law in conducting research, reviewing client documents, drafting and responding to discovery, assisting in trial preparation, and correspondence/pleading preparation. 

Shawn has an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Stark State College and is a Certified Paralegal in Family Law and Estate Planning/Administration through the Ohio State Bar Association. She is an associate member of the Stark County Bar Association as well as the Ohio State Bar Association where she volunteers in several legal committees. Shawn is also a Notary Public for the State of Ohio. During her continued work as a paralegal, Shawn also owned a process serving business for 18 years.

In her spare time, Shawn enjoys spending time with her husband, teenage son, and her goldendoodle, Sarge. Most of all, Shawn loves watching her favorite person play her favorite sport of baseball.
