Biography
Ray’s goal is to achieve the maximum result for each client while providing counsel and guidance regarding the difficult legal and personal issues which can arise during a contested divorce, custody battle, post-decree domestic relations matter or child support, spousal support or post-divorce custody or support modifications.

He has 36 years of experience in matters in Domestic Relations and Juvenile Courts. He also counsels clients to avoid potential pitfalls which may occur when a marriage or a relationship between parents ends, and is available to speak on any family law topics.
Ray is a member of the American, Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in Ohio courts and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
After 32 years of building a regional family law practice throughout Northeastern and East Central Ohio, Ray joined Mills, Mills, Fiely & Lucas in opening the firm’s Canton office in May 2013.
While attending law school he was employed by the office of the United States Attorney in Norfolk, Virginia.
